For this we have those who do not mistake in first place, and those who will built upon our experience in the future.
However, these violins do question the dominance of the post-cremonese tradition, as artistically there was no need in making violins around the mold, no more than there was a need in making cast-iron frames in industrial pianos some 200 years later.
