In counterpart, there is a similar experience released in SACD and available only in Japan: http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00169ZD9W/?tag=sacdinfocom-22 I regret by the way that the set from Kuijken is not published in SACD this time. Looking forward to listen to it anyway.
Thank you, Edouard. I made a search in Japanese and nothing came up. The CD you mention is already in our collection. Ryo Terakado plays my violoncello da spalla, which I made almost at the same time as Sigiswald's. Anyway, Sigiswald just promised to send me one. Both CDs must however really differ one from another, because the two artists pursue very different ideas. Dmitry
Am typing up notes from Sigiswald Kuijken's excellent Bach master class at the Banff Centre, Canada, this July ('10) for a young violin student there, and referring her to your outstanding website for further self-education in the vital background to her studies. Thank you for tying all the threads together, Dmitry, and for your immense hard work in all areas. Blessed and encouraged beyond words.
